During the Madcats stream at Tokyo Game Show 2014, Tekken director/producer Katsuhiro Harada has announce a new Latin American female character for Tekken 7 named Catalina.
Her fighting style is Savate, also known as French boxing/kickboxing. It is a French martial art that uses both hands and feet as weapons combining elements of western boxing and dangerous kicking techniques.
Catalina will be available at the first Tekken 7 location test from October 3rd to October 5th. Harada has also mentioned that she will be beginner friendly. He also said that she has a very sassy-like attitude and will talk a lot (and I mean A LOT). More exciting news? Harada has also said that a SECOND new character will be available at the location test and has 2D fighting characteristics.
